Since our launch of Jacobs Pickles on the Upper West Side of NY in late 2011, we are proud to have shared our love for home-cooked food, artisanal beer, hand made cocktails, and of course, pickles. We fell in love with a community that welcomed us with open arms. So we too opened our arms to the garden next door and started a non for profit to support urban farming. Empowering kids to learn about where their food comes from has given us purpose and a genuine commitment to our neighbors.

Jacob's Digs leverages restaurant industry knowledge and community engagement to execute projects that enhance our local food system, maintain learning gardens, and foster job creation. Jacob's Pickles is located next door to a verdant garden on the Upper West Side. In conceptualizing the restaurant, restaurateur Jacob Hadjigeorgis envisioned a holistic approach to building community partnerships.
